This 1995 BMW E36 M3R is Build number 6 of 15 and a true collector’s car.

The M3R was produced by Frank Gardner Racing in partnership with BMW Motorsport, 15 of these cars were built to homologate the E36 M3 for endurance racing in Australia.

The donor cars were standard E36 M3’s with every option removed, except this example which retains a sunroof, radio and air conditioning.

The motor is the most prominent feature of the M3R, the S50B30 came enhanced with new camshafts, a revised intake, optimised exhaust ports and a new ECU. These modifications raised power and torque figures.
