This Hot Rod is based on the famous Ricky Nelson ’32 Roadster that he drove in a couple of episodes of “The Ozzie and Harriet Show”.

Built with absolutely no expense spared by one of the world’s well-renowned classic car builder/ restorer Peter Leech who has had many of his restorations represented at the world’s famous Pebble Beach Concours.

The chassis and cowl was from an original car that was Australian delivered new.

The flat-head engine was supplied by Jim Robinson at Hightech who has an engine reconditioning business in Palm Springs.

The engine is one that he built for his own pickup, it has a stroked seat cam shaft and large bore.

The car has travelled 1,607 miles from build.
