– SUPER RARE AUSTRALIAN DELIVERED – ONE OF 25 BUILT WITH A FACTORY SUNROOF
If you’ve never seen a Ferrari 360 with a sunroof before, we’re not surprised, it’s believed that just 25 examples were built.
It’s no normal 2000s-era sunroof either. Instead, it’s a hexagonal pop-out that’s stored behind the driver. The 360 Modena was the prancing horse of the new millennium, and it was always going to be tough for Maranello to produce a sequel to the F355 but the Ferrari 360 was lighter, stiffer, more powerful, roomier, better built, featured a much-improved F1 transmission and arguably better looking.
It was powered by an all-alloy 3.6 litre DOHC V8 that you could pear at through the glass viewing panel on the rear deck. It produces a whopping 400 horsepower, that’s 111 horsepower per litre and uses a 6 speed Sequential Manual Auto-Single Clutch, the same technology used in the Ferrari F1 at the time.
Delivered new through Lance Dixon who was the Ferrari Dealer at time of sale.
