This is a genuine pre-merger 190E 3.2 AMG, delivered new in Germany and built during the period when AMG was still an independent workshop producing cars by hand.
Only 125 examples of the 190E 3.2 AMG’s were ever made, and roughly one-third left Affalterbach with a manual transmission, making this specification exceptionally scarce.
This example spent more than two decades with a single private collector in Germany before being imported to Australia in 2023.
It retains all the hallmarks of early AMG craftsmanship: the bespoke 3.2-litre straight-six producing around 234 hp, the raw and mechanical character of the W201 chassis, and the rare 5-speed manual that transforms the driving experience.
