1967 Porsche 911S Prototype – VIN 310001S

A rare piece of Porsche history is now available for a collector: the very first Porsche 911S ever manufactured.

This remarkable vehicle, VIN 310001S, is a prototype used by Porsche’s testing department.

After fulfilling its role as a test mule, in 1969 this prototype was sold to legendary Formula One driver Hans Herrmann, who later earned Porsche’s first overall Le Mans victory in 1970.

Having sat untouched for 26 years, this 911S was meticulously restored to its original glory.

Finished in its factory-correct Light Ivory paintwork, paired with a beige interior, this short-wheelbase 911S has been returned to its most authentic form, preserving its legacy as a cornerstone of the 911 lineage.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a truly unique prototype with direct ties to Porsche’s motorsport and engineering legacy.
